| 1. Thank you for your interest
in registering in the United Nations Procurement Division
database of suppliers. The United Nations Procurement Division
invites suppliers registered with the Procurement Division
for future solicitation of its procurement requirements. It
is important to note that the Procurement Division currently
uses the United Nations Common Supplier Database (UNCSD) only
as information source and not for solicitation.
2. To be considered for registration, it is important that
potential suppliers provide correct information. In order
to fulfil registration requirements, please return:
a. The signed completed application;
b. Copy of certificate of incorporation (privately held companies
only);
c. Your latest certified/audited financial statements, i.e.
Balance Sheet and Income Statement (privately held companies);
or copy of your signed income tax return (US applicants only);
or you Annual Report to Shareholders (publicly traded companies);
d. General information about the firm and its products/services,
including copies of standards of quality certification for
the products/services you wish to register. If the product
or service your company provides is not in the PD Commodity
Codes, it is very likely that the UN Procurement Division
does not require them. In such case, please do not submit
an application;
e. Letter of reference from at least three (3) clients to
whom your company has provided goods/services over the past
twelve (12) months.
3. Prospective Suppliers must have a minimum of three (3)
years of experience/establishment in their line of business.
The United Nations, on the basis of the financial soundness
of the supplier, experience and relevance of the goods or
services offered, will evaluate each complete application.
Kindly return the signed application, general information,
financial information and references to:

4. Companies in the USA should note that the United Nations,
under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, is eligible to receive
full benefits under GSA Contracts. Please include the GSA
contract number and expiration date, if applicable. Submission
of a completed application package does not mean that you
will be automatically included in the database. Registration
will depend on the result of the evaluation of your application.
Once your company’s application has been approved and you
have received your registration identification number, we
encourage you to visit regularly our website for announcements
of “Expressions of Interest,” which describe forthcoming bids
for goods/services, and other procurement news and information.
5. The United Nations also requires information if you have
in your employment any person(s) who have been employed by
the United Nations in the past. If so, please provide the
United Nations with details.
6. We thank you for your interest in being a supplier to
the United Nations and look forward to receiving your application
soon. |
